Job Summary
It is envisaged that the post-holder will make key contributions to all aspects of the clinical care of patients. They will help to develop palliative medicine within Northern Ireland Hospice and provide care to patients in the inpatient unit and community. They will contribute to the development of staff and help in the delivery of education programmes requiring medical input.
The post-holder will join the current consultant team whose clinical responsibilities rotate between the inpatient and community services.
Responsibilities
* Provide programmed activities (PAs) to direct clinical care (DCC).
* Engage in supporting professional activities (SPA) and allocate 0.5 PAs for time off in lieu of on-call.
* Potentially take on additional teaching, research, or supervisory roles depending on interests.
* Adapt to changes in PAs and duties as the service demands.
Post will be based at Somerton House, with location subject to change according to service demands.
