Year 5 Class Teacher

Start Date: February 2026
Contract: 5 days per week- full time
Pay: Paid to scale (£168 – £233 per day)
About the Role:
A larger than average Primary school in the Romsey area is seeking an experienced Year 5 teacher starting February 2026 until the end of the academic year. This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 5 class, working closely with a year group partner and a full time LSA. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life.

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Primary Teacher
* Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND
* Consistent, adaptive and inclusive professionals
Requirements
* UK-recognised teaching qualification.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
