A leading 11–18 secondary school in Basingstoke, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher to join their expanding Science Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a stimulating environment where academic excellence, student wellbeing, and professional development are prioritised. About the Role The successful teacher will deliver Biology across KS3–KS5, teaching engaging and well-structured lessons that combine practical experimentation, fieldwork, and scientific analysis. They will inspire students to explore the natural world and develop an appreciation for the complexity of living systems. The role includes preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, guiding independent research, and participating in extracurricular science activities such as STEM fairs, environmental initiatives, and field study programmes. Teachers are encouraged to collaborate on curriculum design and take creative ownership of their teaching approaches.
