Overview
Provide advanced knowledge on specific diseases and conditions to support the PHN team. Lead specialist education and training to enhance knowledge and practice across the service. Ensure the PHN teams deliver excellence in clinical practice. Act as a resource and communicate with Hertfordshire County Council, health professionals, voluntary groups, and the public regarding SEND developments. Keep staff informed of NICE guidelines and evidence-based practices. Organise and deliver quarterly SEND champions meetings, provide training, and develop resources for dissemination and establish local support and facilities with the help of SEND Champions. Support new staff induction and mentor pre-registration students. Manage SEND training for Public Health Nursing staff and collaborate on service development. Develop interventions for children in Moderate Learning Difficulties schools.

* RN or RM qualification
* Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
* Nurse Prescriber V100, V150
* Degree 1st level
