We are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant for a large 11-18 Secondary School in the Newcastle area, to work on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible!

Your role & responsibilities:
â—� Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs
â—� Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support
â—� Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey
â—� Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions
Non-negotiables:
â—� Recent university degree of 2:2 classification or above
â—� Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
â—� Clear desire to work with children and young people
â—� Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential
â—� Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school
