Wealth Management Engineering is seeking a hybrid Technical Project / Product Manager & Business Analyst to manage critical growth initiatives and regulatory obligations. The role involves leveraging project management skills and functional/architectural expertise to support technology needs across divisions. This position offers an opportunity to manage key initiatives requiring engineering uplift to meet new business opportunities and regulatory demands.
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Divisional and Engineering Management, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to define and document requirements.
Work with Engineering leadership and teams to agree on solution design, resourcing, and deliverables.
Support engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring dependencies and deliverables are met.
Hold project teams accountable, remove roadblocks, and utilize organizational resources to enhance capacity.
Define, track, and communicate project metrics such as OKRs and success measures to senior leadership.
Develop deep functional knowledge of the problem domain and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
Ask focused questions to understand current processes and relate them to similar situations.
Apply critical thinking to challenge assumptions and improve solutions.
Track problems, ensure resolutions, and complete actions by deadlines.
Escalate unresolved or at-risk items and prioritize analysis based on risks.
Basic Skills and Qualifications
Proactive with the confidence to drive organizational change collaboratively.
Deep ownership and accountability for enhancing the firm’s capabilities.
Energetic, focused, and driven to advance projects.
Experience as a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst in Financial Services or relevant experience.
Understanding of Technology Concepts and SDLC fundamentals.
Knowledge of project governance and management tools.
Experience in improving business processes via technology.
Proven ability to lead complex programs under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate issues effectively.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Understanding of Investment Banking business, products, and regulations.
Knowledge of trade lifecycle and functional teams within investment banking.
Understanding of project and software development lifecycles.
Ability to articulate problems and solutions appropriately for the audience.
