What You’ll Be Working On
As part of KBR’s global engineering capability, the Civil and Structural Group plays a vital role in designing and delivering complex infrastructure across a wide range of sectors.
* Buildings and structural frameworks
* Transportation infrastructure – roads, railways, airports, and seaports
* Bridges and tunnels
* Drainage and underground utilities
* Wastewater collection and treatment systems
* Underground gravity drainage systems
* Geotechnical design
* General civil and structural engineering works
Your Role and Development
Based at our Leatherhead, Surrey office, you’ll be part of a dynamic electrical engineering team, working on projects at various stages – from concept development to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
* Hands‑on design experience across multiple project phases
* Structured rotations to broaden your technical and professional skills
* Opportunities for international placements in locations such as Baku and Chennai
* Site‑based rotations to deepen your practical understanding and enhance your engineering capabilities
Who We’re Looking For
* Have achieved a 2:2 engineering degree or higher in Electrical Engineering; a Masters Degree is preferred.
* Are passionate about their discipline and its application in the evolving energy industry.
* Possess an inquisitive nature and are eager to help solve our clients’ problems.
* Enjoy being part of a team and helping others.
* Use their initiative and are confident working independently.
* Are enthusiastic learners, keen to develop their skills and knowledge.

Our Selection Process
Our Graduate selection journey begins with an in‑depth review of candidate applications, followed by shortlisting through phone screening, and concluding with an in‑person Assessment Day at our Leatherhead offices.
