To join our small team based at our headquarters in Telford, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to meet the organisation's staffing needs. This role requires a proactive approach to recruitment, utilising various platforms and tools to identify potential candidates and foster strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, including skilled production operatives, maintenance engineering, sales personnel, and other functions.
2. Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and facilitating offers.
3. Utilising Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities.
4. Engaging in lead generation activities to identify potential talent through social media management and networking.
5. Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
6. Conducting reference checks and coordinating pre-employment assessments as required.
7. Representing the company at job fairs, university events, industry networking events, and promoting STEM activities.
8. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to enhance sourcing strategies.
You will have:
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
2. Proficiency in using ATS systems for managing candidate information and recruitment processes.
3. Strong relationship management skills to foster connections with candidates and internal teams.
4. Experience with lead generation techniques to proactively source candidates.
5. Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
