About the Role
We're looking for a passionate leader to join us at our Skegness Resort as part of the Buffets department as a Venue Manager.
* Deliver an exceptional dining experience to guests and create smiles every day.
* Lead a team of staff in our self‑service breakfast and dinner restaurants, ensuring high standards of service.
* Develop, coach and train team members in a fun‑filled environment, providing regular 1:1 and PDP discussions.
* Maintain and elevate brand standards while embodying the Butlin's way of working.
* Ensure high levels of hygiene and cleanliness, and monitor food safety and health & safety policies.
* Analyze KPIs, facilitate training sessions, and drive continuous improvement of service delivery.
* Manage rotating schedules based on fluctuating guest volumes and support other areas of the business as needed.
* Operate efficiently across a 40‑hour week, covering shifts from 7 am to 9 pm, including weekends, bank holidays and Christmas.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a volume catering or food service environment where speed and quality are both critical.
* Strong guest‑centric customer‑service skills, including handling a range of queries and complaints.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a multi‑skilled team, including rota planning and performance coaching.
* Proficiency in setting and maintaining standards, role‑modeling behaviour, and providing effective feedback.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and adaptability to changing requirements.
* Passion for leadership and developing people, with proven experience in regular 1:1 discussions and developmental support.
