Hardware Infrastructure Engineer (Server Platforms)
This role sits within the core infrastructure operations function, supporting mission-critical research and trading systems.

What you’ll be responsible for
* Ownership of physical server health, lifecycle, and readiness
* Hardware fault investigation and coordination to resolution
* Vendor case management, escalations, and RMAs
* Planning and executing refresh, replacement, and firmware activities
* Working with data centre teams on installs, cabling, and break/fix
* Maintaining asset accuracy, lifecycle status, and documentation
* Supporting capacity and growth planning initiatives
Must-Haves
* 5+ years in server / hardware / data centre infrastructure roles
* Deep understanding of enterprise server components and diagnostics
* Practical experience with HPE OneView, iLO, and Redfish APIs
* Linux exposure for provisioning and troubleshooting
* NetBox or similar CMDB / asset tools
* Ansible or infrastructure automation experience
* Vendor management and RMA handling experience
* Enterprise hardware platforms: HPE, Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo
* Strong ownership mindset and documentation discipline
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in low-latency, HPC, or financial environments
* Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaLogs)
* Firmware lifecycle programs at scale
* Python / Bash scripting
* Capacity planning or refresh program exposure
