For VMO2, we are Proposing Various Legacy Applications to be Decommissioned and the current functionality to be Ported to Appian as Target Application. We need to understand the current functionalities and interactions with other North/South Bound Systems of the existing applications and Architect those on Appian Application. As an Appian Architect, the engineer is responsible for the following, 1. Deeply undertstand the existing application functionalities, NFR's, Security & Performance Aspects and bring up a Report Demonstarting the same. 2. Based on the above Report, clearly Architect in how the Functionalities and NFR's can be Developed and Implemented in Appian Application. 3. As it will involve creation/consumption of API's to different Systems, the Architect needs to clearly define the details required for API Interactions. 4. High Level Design & Low Level Designs needs to created, demonstrated to VMO2 Solution Board and obtain the approval. 5. Ensure Respective Details are Recorded with sheer quality in respective Artifacts(User Story/Tasks). 6. The Architect needs to ensure the Design is clear to Development team. 7. The Architect needs to be available for any consultation during the Development Phase and ensure he/she provide the required feedback during Sprint Ceremonies. 8. It is expected that, this Role needs to be a Development Lead as well in addition to Architect and ensure Development Progress is in right track. 9. This Role Requires interactions with Thrid Party Vendors as the backend data resides in a 3rd Party System. So he/she needs to clearly articulate the Dependency for our Piece of Development. 1. The Engineer has very good Hands-on experience in Designing & Architecting Appian Applications. 2. Any Expereince in Migrating a Legacy Application to Appian based application is an absolute plus. 3. Expertize in Agile Methodology is a must. 4. This Role is expected to perform Development Lead as well so that the Design & Development goes hand-in-hand. 5. Should have good Hands-on experience in creating HLD's & LLD's with all required details captured.
