Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Newport. We're looking for a Procurement Project Co-ordinator to join an innovative team on a fixed-term contract, playing a key role in bridging procurement and project delivery.

* Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Co-ordination: Support projects from start to finish by managing scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and timelines.
* Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Assist in negotiations, pricing reviews, and performance evaluations.
* Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across procurement, sales, design, and customer service to support successful project delivery.
* Compliance: Ensure procurement processes align with company standards and external regulations.
* Process Improvement: Identify ways to streamline procurement and project workflows for increased efficiency and cost savings.
About You:
* Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or project co-ordination.
* Ideally from a manufacturing or production background.
* Strong communication and supplier negotiation skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems independently.
* Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
* Proficient in using procurement and project management tools/systems.
