The successful candidate will receive in house training to grow and develop their skills" About the Job Reporting to the Finance Manager the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties Key responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis Support group reporting and intercompany reconciliations Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial records Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations Provide payroll cover when required Support budgeting and forecasting processes Analyse manufacturing costs and performance with operations teams Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and cash management Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments Support audits and ensure compliance with financial controls Previous experience Previous experience working in a busy office environment Studying towards (or planning to pursue) a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence.
