Who You Are

* Two or more years of specialty retail leadership with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
* Professional with strong work ethic, integrity, and respect for others.
* Customer-centric with understanding of how exceptional service drives store sales.
* Educator, coach and mentor who inspires team members based on strengths.
* Organized and strategic, able to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Clear communicator of business information and brand initiatives.
* Ambitious, enthusiastic, and friendly, able to work cooperatively in a diverse environment.
* Technological aptitude to navigate, coach and train POS/iPad/handheld systems.
* Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around, and standing for extended periods; able to lift at least 40 lbs.
* Flexible schedule including opening/closing shifts, weekends and holidays; open availability of 40 hours per week.


What You'll Do

* Create and foster a culture of hospitality with exceptional customer experiences and enduring relationships.
* Provide meaningful customer service that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
* Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas (Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, Talbots Classic Awards).
* Partner with the Manager to lead the team in all areas of operations.
* Plan and lead floor sets, window displays, interior marketing, recalls, markdowns, etc.
* Educate, train, and reinforce brand standards and company policies.
* Balance operational and selling energy with proper planning, scheduling, and prioritization.
* Maintain knowledge of business, competitive landscape, fashion trends, and drivers to maximize sales and meet financial goals.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and all employment laws.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships to support a productive environment.
