Our client is looking for an experienced 3rd Line IT Engineer to join their vibrant Service Desk team. You will work alongside four skilled engineers, mentoring junior colleagues and making a real impact on team success. The role includes an on‑call rotation once a month.

Duties and Responsibilities of our clients 3rd Line IT Service Desk Engineer:
* Provide expert‑level technical support to resolve complex issues escalated from lower tiers (1st and 2nd line). This can involve troubleshooting hardware, software and network‑related problems.
* Take ownership of escalated incidents, ensuring resolution within agreed‑upon service level agreements.
* Identify root causes of recurring incidents, conduct thorough root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term solutions.
* Assess and implement changes to IT systems and infrastructure, minimizing disruption to operations.
* Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
* Interface with external vendors and third‑party service providers to resolve technical issues and procure necessary hardware or software.
* Provide guidance and support to Junior Engineers and support staff.
* Participate in the on‑call rotation once a month.
Your Previous Experience:
* Microsoft Windows desktop and server configuration and support.
* Microsoft Exchange (On Prem and Online) configuration and support.
* Terminal server environment configuration and support (Citrix, AVD, RDS).
* Active Directory configuration and administration.
* Strong knowledge of Group Policy.
* General networking skills (CLI, subnetting, NAT).
* Understanding of DNS.
* Router configuration and support (Cisco, HP, Draytek).
* Firewall configuration and support (WatchGuard, SonicWALL).
* HP ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge server hardware support.
* VMware and Hyper‑V support (VCP an advantage).
* Storage technologies (NAS, NetApp, Synology).
* Strong understanding of Office 365.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune.
* Strong understanding of SSL certificates.
