Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00
Our well established client based in Walsall are currently on the search for an experience Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is integral to ensuring the financial arm of the business runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Control Duties:
* Proactively manage debtor balances to reduce aged debt.
* Contact overdue debtors daily using various communication methods.
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve outstanding queries.
* Issue court proceedings for unpaid debts and manage enforcement action.
* Prepare statements, breakdowns, and account summaries.
* Take payments both in-person and over the phone, issuing receipts as required.
* Post receipts and payments to ledgers accurately.
Person Specification
The ideal Credit Controller will demonstrate:
* 2+ Years in the Legal Secor e.g Solicitors or SRA
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong IT capability and proficiency in finance-related systems.
* Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
