This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a new initiative. As the initial point of contact with the Analytics and Insight team within People Services, you'll support the Senior Advisor and Manager by maintaining our HR and payroll systems and generating reports that provide insights to inform decision-making across the Council.
The role also involves supporting the Systems and Service Improvement team with projects, data creation, insights, and accurate record-keeping. You'll be a member of our broader People Services team, dedicated to making Staffordshire a great place to work by fostering staff development, ensuring a safe and positive workplace, and supporting employees.

Main Responsibilities
* Produce and distribute standard reports for the organization
* Manage shared mailboxes daily, responding to queries and report requests to ensure excellent customer service
* Maintain the organizational management structure within HR systems through data collation, verification, and updates
* Assist with large-scale data validation exercises, such as pay awards, incremental progression, annual leave, and term-time working
* Support statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
The Ideal Candidate
* GCSE level education or equivalent experience in an administrative role
* Proficiency with ICT tools, including Microsoft Office and Excel, for data analysis and reporting
* Experience interpreting data from various sources to produce reports
* Data entry and maintenance skills in computerized systems
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Teamwork ability and contribution to high team performance
