About the Role and You
Contract type: Part Time, 25 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Start date: Immediate start available
Your main responsibilities will include:
* ssist with the preparation and serving of meals for students and staff
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
* Support the catering team in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe
* Assist with washing up, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
* Help with stock rotation and basic food storage
* Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service during breakfast, lunch, and school events
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience in catering or food service (desirable, but not essential)
* Maintains high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
* Is reliable, flexible, and has a positive attitude
* Can engage with children and staff in a friendly and professional manner
* Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school environment
