JOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: North Yorkshire
SALARY: £40,000+ (DOE)
THE ROLE:
You will manage a varied non-contentious private client caseload, drawing on your technical expertise and experience. You will also have the opportunity to undertake contentious probate matters with the option to develop a mixed contentious and non-contentious practice where appropriate. The balance of work can be tailored to your skills, experience and professional interests. THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a Private Client Solicitor with at least three years’ PQE, ideally having obtained the STEP Diploma. You will have proven experience managing your own caseload and a strong background in wills, probate, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and trusts. Experience working with high net-worth individuals, estate planning matters and farming clients is highly desirable. You will work effectively both as part of a team and independently, be fully IT-literate and demonstrate excellent client care and interpersonal skills. You will be self motivated and eager to participate in business development activities.
