Job Description Process Technologist An established food manufacturer is seeking a Process Technologist to support the scale-up and launch of new products within a ready-to-eat environment. This role is responsible for managing factory trials, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and supporting smooth first production. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage factory trials to ensure safe, consistent, and cost-effective manufacture of new products. Compile detailed product and trial documentation to support customer approval and finished product specifications. Establish and validate processing, cooking, freezing, and up tempering methodologies. Coordinate laboratory testing and contribute to quality risk assessments. Support operations during first production and customer visits. Contribute to continuous improvement and product quality initiatives. Requirements Experience within food manufacturing or NPD/process development. Strong understanding of food safety, quality, and manufacturing processes. Food Safety Level 3 qualification. Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office). Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
