Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis HMS Collingwood, Portsmouth (Can be flexible) Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster – Your role as a senior leaver will focus on transforming training delivery through strong people leadership, effective change, and modern digital solutions. The Training Delivery Manager bridges strategy and execution, delivering improved performance, better learner outcomes, and tangible impact at pace. Job title: Training Delivery Manager Job Description: What you’ll be doing Provide visible, values‑led leadership to Training Delivery Leads and managers, building a high‑performing, engaged workforce. Set clear objectives, performance standards, and expectations aligned to organisational priorities and KPIs. Lead cultural change by modelling inclusive, collaborative, and continuous‑improvement behaviours. Deliver complex training, transformation, and improvement programmes with clear governance, risk management, and benefits realisation. Coordinate cross‑functional teams and provide senior‑level reporting, assurance, and recommendations. Act as a change leader, embedding new training models, technologies, and ways of working with strong stakeholder engagement. Leverage digital, data, and AI‑enabled solutions to improve planning, decision‑making, and training outcomes. Maintain strategic oversight of performance, identifying risks early and balancing operational delivery with long‑term transformation. ​ What we’re looking for Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications Proven experience in a senior training, operational, or delivery management role. Strong people leadership and line management capability. Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering complex projects or change initiatives. Solid understanding of change management principles and application. Experience using data, insight, and performance metrics to drive improvement. Confident stakeholder manager, able to operate at senior levels. Ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver outcomes in a complex environment. Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications: Experience of digital transformation or AI-enabled initiatives within training or operations. Formal project or change management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, APM). Background in defence, public sector, or large-scale service delivery environments.
