The Role To provide preventative maintenance and mechanical breakdown services across the site, ensuring the plant equipment operates efficiently, reliably, and safely. The role supports operational departments to maintain high standards of performance, equipment availability, and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical maintenance and breakdown response across the mill to reduce downtime and increase reliability. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on rotating and static mechanical equipment. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions using SAP and other CMMS tools. Support root cause analysis of equipment failure and recommend improvements. Safely operate under the Mechanical and Electrical permit systems; issue certificates/permits as needed. Conduct rigging, lifting, alignment, and fabrication duties as part of equipment installations or modifications.
