Cityworx are working in partnership with a privately owned home care provider is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow a high-quality private visiting care service.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring excellent client experience, strong team engagement and sustainable business performance. You will oversee daily operations while supporting service growth, compliance and workforce development.
The position suits a manager who combines operational organisation, people leadership and a commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, mentor and support the visiting care team
* Manage day-to-day service delivery and identify operational risks and opportunities
* Promote a collaborative and supportive working culture
Service Excellence & Quality Assurance
* Maintain high standards of care delivery and documentation
* Drive continuous improvement aligned to CQC expectations
* Ensure client satisfaction and staff engagement
Growth & Capacity Planning
* Support development of private referral streams
* Scale service capacity through recruitment and scheduling planning
* Balance growth with quality and safe delivery
Performance & Reporting
* Monitor service performance using data and reporting tools
* Track retention, turnover and financial efficiency
* Identify trends and implement improvements
About You
* Experience managing domiciliary/home care services and remote teams
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Proactive mindset with ability to improve systems and workflows
* Passion for person-centred, high-quality care
Requirements
* UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Care qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* Competent with Microsoft Office and care management systems
* DBS and satisfactory references
