Fabricator/Welder Based Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL Flexible work pattern based around a 42.5 hour week You will be a key member of our busy maintenance team, familiar with MMA and MIG welding processes. Some responsibilities of a Fabricator/Welder include: Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications. Use of various hand and power tools. Use and follow site Permits to work. Assist maintenance teams as required. About you: Alongside your solid background in fabrication, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment, you are confident in working alone or alongside a team. You’ll be technically minded, keen to learn new skills and hold your work to a high level. In addition, you will have: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good understanding of computer-based systems and software. A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail. Problem solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy environment. Sound understanding of health and safety practices.
