Despatch Clerk (Talbot Green Warehouse) South Wales.
37.5hrs p/w (Variable Shifts - 5/7 days).
Rotating 5 shift pattern.
£13.15 p/hr plus £1.49 p/hr night shift allowance when nights.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Administration Despatch Clerk in our Talbot Green warehouse.
Key Requirements:
1. The key purpose of this role is to accurately and efficiently process customer orders
2. Will be required to work evenings and weekends
3. Role could involve heavy lifting, exposure to temperature extremes and prolonged standing
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
4. Scheduling and releasing of customer orders to planned routes
5. Administration of customer orders, replenishment and despatch operations
6. Liaison with operations management and other departments regarding general queries and provision of information
7. Administration, collation and distribution of driver information
8. Running and distribution of general reports
9. Allocation of work areas to warehouse staff
10. Replenishment of warehouse stationary consumables
Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
Essential
11. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential
12. Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel
Desirable
13. 5 x GCSE (A-C)
14. Previous experience in a similar role
15. Experience in using PUTTY (but training will be given)
16. Ability to produce accurate work within agreed timescales
