We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. In this role you will deliver innovative solutions that improve current production motorcycles, work collaboratively across departments to achieve time, cost, and quality objectives, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied position that provides design expertise across the business to ensure the smooth operation of Triumph.

Design Engineer Responsibilities
* Deliver engineering solutions to improve current production motorcycles, collaborating with specialists and chief engineers.
* Manage projects to meet time, cost, quality, and specification targets.
* Work within cross‑functional teams to identify and implement improvements using tools such as 8D.
* Provide design support across departments and maintain project plans.
* Communicate effectively across the supply chain and deliver against KPIs.
* Follow and challenge processes to enhance efficiency, escalating risks when necessary.
* Support additional projects and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Design Engineer Requirements
* MEng or BEng in an engineering-related subject, with a standard Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English.
* Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate and develop toward independent working.
* A proactive, results‑driven mindset.
* Forward‑thinking approach to risk and robust design solutions.
* Values high‑quality work and its impact on the business.
* Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion.
* Is eager to learn and open to guidance.
