Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and manage a skilled team delivering high-quality and responsive family help and social work services.
* Serve as the lead professional in statutory interventions including child protection, care proceedings, and looked-after children cases.
* Conduct in-depth assessments of need and risk; coordinate multi-agency interventions for safeguarding children.
* Collaborate with health and social care professionals to promote the safety and welfare of children.
* Develop and deliver tailored care plans and support packages for children with complex needs.
* Represent the service in court proceedings, advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring robust legal protection.
