This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction business with a strong pipeline of work across commercial offices, retail, hospitality and residential schemes, offering long-term progression and exposure to varied projects.The JobAs Quantity Surveyor you will manage all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, value for money, risk management, and contractual compliance across commercial and residential fit-out and general building projects.Key responsibilities:Full commercial management from pre-contract through to final accountPreparing cost plans, take-offs, tenders and budgetsSubcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accountsWorking under JCT contracts, including Design & BuildSupporting delivery teams across multiple live projectsOffice-based role with regular site visitsWhat you will need5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (or ready to step into Senior level)Background with a main contractor, or a strong subcontractorExperience across commercial and/or residential fit-out and refurbishment projectsStrong knowledge of JCT forms of contractConfident managing costs, subcontractors and commercial riskWhat’s on offer:Salary £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)Permanent position with long-term stabilityClear progression route to Senior / Commercial Management levelSupport with RICS / professional developmentCollaborative, professional working environment
