The Department of Campus Infrastructure wishes to appoint a Painter / Decorator to join the team. You will be responsible for assisting with painting and decorating the University's residential buildings, hospitality, and catering outlets on campus and in the city. You may also undertake other maintenance activities such as minor repairs and maintenance of the building fabric.
We Would Like To Hear From You If You
* have an Apprenticeship in Painting & Decorating or similar to City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorating Occupations (Painting And Decorating) or equivalent
* have practical DIY skills and the necessary vocational training and experience to undertake routine repairs
* are familiar with, and comfortable working in, built environments and can identify and remedy various maintenance tasks, keeping all affected informed
* have a flexible approach to work and are willing to undertake training to enhance your knowledge
* are committed to the role and can work independently and as part of a team
Further Information
This role is offered on a full-time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis. Hours of work will be between 08:00 and 18:00, flexibly scheduled Monday to Friday, based on operational needs.
