Role overview
As part of the Indemnity Team, you’ll use your expertise to identify and process contractual breach claims to achieve optimal outcomes. You’ll investigate a portfolio of these claims, handle MIB claims, and manage a small portfolio of Peril-specific losses when required.
Required experience includes:
* Triaging suspected contractual breach claims and assessing indemnity, including customer contact for clarity
* Initiating enquiries, instructing relevant suppliers, and evaluating evidence
* Deciding on indemnity and communicating outcomes
* Using data analytics to identify risky claims for proactive review
* Reviewing referrals from Peril areas to identify new leads
* Handling MIB claims and Peril-specific losses to optimize financial outcomes and mitigate risks
Essential skills:
* Experience handling motor insurance claims, including MIB claims, and claims investigation processes
* Strong knowledge of indemnity principles, insurance contracts, Road Traffic Act, and MIB Articles of Association (including Article 75)
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
