Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced MS Dynamics senior Technical Manager for their customer in North England. The customer is establishing a brand-new Microsoft Dynamics practice and are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the design, build, and delivery of the platform across the organisation. This is a strategic role for someone who can combine technical depth with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the set-up and growth of Yorkshire Water's Dynamics 365 capability.
* Define technical architecture, governance, and delivery frameworks for the Dynamics platform.
* Build and manage a blended team of internal staff and partner resources.
* Provide strategic guidance on Dynamics roadmaps, integrations, and best practice.
* Work closely with digital, data, and infrastructure peers to ensure platform interoperability.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on Dynamics capability and future roadmap.
* Support vendor management and partner engagement for delivery and support services.
Required Experience:
* 5 - 10 years' experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, ideally covering multiple modules (Finance, Customer Service, CRM, etc.).
* Proven experience in establishing or scaling a Dynamics practice within a large enterprise (FTSE 100-250 or equivalent).
* Background in technical delivery, architecture, or systems integration before moving into management.
* Understanding of Azure integration, data, and API connectivity across platforms.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills - able to translate technical solutions for non-technical leaders.
* Experience in utilities or regulated industries beneficial but not essential.
Soft Skills:
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on background.
* Confident communicator and relationship builder.
* Capable of balancing technical detail with commercial and delivery priorities.
* Collaborative leadership style, able to motivate and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
