Health Care Support Worker – District Nursing Service

This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join the District Nursing Service in Dundee. Working within a team(s) you will provide care to patients and support to their carers within a home/community setting.
As part of the District Nursing Service in Dundee, you will be well organised and have excellent communication skills. Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multi-disciplinary working with the ability to adapt and manage change within the service is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide care to patients and support to their carers within a home/community setting.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to service change.
* Travel across Dundee and the surrounding areas as required.
* Comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout employment.
* Assist with documentation as per NHS Tayside regulations.
Working Hours
Working a variety of shifts over 7 days between 08.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs, including weekends and public holidays. Hours of work are: 25.5hrs over 5 days including weekends and public holidays. You should be willing to work a variety of shifts over the 24 hour period.

Well organised, excellent communication skills, commitment to multi‑disciplinary working, ability to adapt and manage change, willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
