Inclusion Teaching Assistant Primary Inclusion Setting Full-time | Starting 24th February Class Mate is recruiting an experienced Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist inclusion setting, working mainly with Year 13 children with EHCPs and complex needs. Many of the pupils are non-verbal, and several are preparing for transition into specialist provision. The role: Providing 1:1 and small group support within the inclusion unit Supporting pupils with complex needs and EHCPs Working with mainly non-verbal pupils, using alternative communication methods Supporting routines, engagement, and emotional regulation Working closely with the inclusion team and SENCO The ideal candidate will: Have experience supporting children with complex SEN and EHCPs Be confident working with non-verbal pupils Be nurturing, resilient, and calm Have experience in SEN, inclusion, or specialist settings Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply) What Class Mate offers: A primary-only specialist agency Honest, ongoing support from a local consultant Competitive pay, paid weekly Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles
