Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Ecommerce Content Manager to oversee the planning, production, and delivery of product content for our website. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all product detail pages (PDPs) are accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with our brand and product proposition. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience collaborating across creative, product, and ecommerce teams to deliver best-in-class digital content.
Key Responsibilities
* Ecommerce Content Planning: Partner with the Head of Business Operations and Senior Producer to plan and manage critical paths for product content creation to meet launch deadlines.
* Collaborate with product teams to gather detailed product information and personalisation specifications, ensuring Ecommerce content is accurate and aligned with product positioning.
* Work with the Ecommerce team and Website Manager to align PDP content requirements and ensure these are included in shoot briefs.
* Brief design teams on annotation requirements for PDP content.
* Work with the website team to test and implement new content formats for PDPs.
* Production Briefing: Prepare comprehensive shoot briefs outlining required assets for new product launches.
* Partner with the Product Assistant and Brand Stylist to brief styling requirements for wardrobe and jewellery. Brief the Senior Producer and attend pre-production meetings to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and shoot requirements.
* Content Production: Art direct on set (as required) to ensure photography meets brand and Ecommerce guidelines.
* Review content produced during shoots, make selects, and prepare retouching notes. Liaise with production and retouch teams to ensure final assets are of the highest quality.
* Review delivered content and provide detailed feedback prior to sign-off.
* Approve final imagery for Ecommerce usage. Prepare, organise, and deliver image files to the web team.
* Conduct final checks on PDPs to confirm all content is uploaded correctly and meets Ecommerce standards.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in Ecommerce content management, content production, or similar roles.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage large workloads with multiple deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
* Understanding of shoot production, briefing, and art direction.
* Strong collaboration skills across creative, product, and digital teams.
* Understanding of Ecommerce content best practices and PDP optimisation.
