Job Description

Job Title: Teacher of Engineering / Construction / Motor Vehicle

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: 150–230 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time


Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Engineering, Construction, or Motor Vehicle subjects.
* Encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world contexts.
* Support learners in developing essential technical and safety skills.
* Monitor progress, assess work, and provide constructive feedback.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates achievement.


Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent teaching/training qualification.
* Background or strong subject knowledge in Engineering, Construction, or Motor Vehicle studies.
* Experience teaching or training in an educational or vocational setting.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
