FREELANCE SITE ENGINEER
DAILY RATE - @ £300 BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are currently looking for an experienced site engineer to work on a major build project on the outskirts of Brighton. The role is working with an established regional civil engineering contractor delivering a key part of the project and will be joining an established and professional team.
The key duties for the role include but are not limited to:
* Setting out
* Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
* Managing, monitoring and interpreting design documents
* Liaising with the site team, consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
* Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
* Quality control and health and safety matters on site
* Preparing reports as required
* Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
