Your New Role…
CNN’s Doha team creates custom video content for all platforms, including social media. Responsibilities include writing, producing, shooting, and editing digital videos, covering breaking news, international conflicts, climate change, health, business, and more.
The Videographer/Editor conducts pre-production interviews, writes scripts, and edits videos in-house and on location.
The Senior Multiplatform Videographer/Editor plays a key role in creative and technical aspects, overseeing workflows, supervising team members, and liaising with management in Abu Dhabi. The role begins in late August/early September 2025.
Your Role Accountabilities…
* Collaborate with teams for visual direction and editorial planning.
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
* Coordinate scheduling and responsibilities for video shoots.
* Maintain and operate video equipment, including Sony FX6, FX9, A7S cameras, and gimbals.
* Operate live and mobile filming equipment.
* Edit content for various platforms, including social media.
* Support technical operations for live streams and TV programs.
Qualifications & Experience…
* Experience at a major media outlet or equivalent.
* Skills in fact-checking, interviews, camera operations, and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, mobile editing).
* Ability to work under deadlines, analyze data, and adapt quickly.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Working Arrangements
This role is hybrid, combining remote and in-office work, subject to company policy and business needs.
