Senior Contracts Manager – Specialist Fit-Out / Global Projects

A well‑established and rapidly expanding specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Contracts Manager to strengthen its growing project delivery team. The company operates at the forefront of its niche, delivering high‑quality interior and joinery packages on large‑scale projects for an international client base.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑profile projects across multiple locations, while playing a key leadership role in ensuring successful contract delivery.
The Role
As Senior Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of major projects from initial mobilisation through to final completion. Working closely with internal departments and project teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients and project stakeholders
* Prepare and oversee project budgets while ensuring financial performance is maintained
* Work alongside procurement teams to develop and implement effective procurement strategies
* Collaborate with planning teams to produce realistic and achievable project programmes
* Lead regular project review meetings to track progress and drive performance
* Coordinate manpower and resources across projects
* Provide clear weekly reporting on project status and milestones
* Oversee logistics, travel and operational planning where projects require international mobilisation
* Manage contractual variations and commercial matters in collaboration with the commercial team
* Supervise subcontractor performance and contractual compliance
* Ensure installation and on‑site activities are delivered to programme and quality expectations
* Maintain compliance with company KPIs, operational standards and safety requirements
* Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to project managers and wider project teams
* Support the delivery of projects in various locations globally
About You
You will be an experienced construction professional with the ability to manage complex projects and lead high‑performing teams.
The ideal candidate will bring:
* 10+ years’ experience in construction, specialist fit‑out, or a related project delivery environment
* A strong track record of managing contracts or projects from inception through completion
* Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and contractual matters
* Someone who likes to operate independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools
Experience within specialist interior fit‑out or complex refurbishment projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
