The Musicians' Union (MU) represents over 36,500 musicians across the UK working in all sectors of the music business and we are currently recruiting a part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent, Data & Research Assistant.
About the role
Do you have high attention to detail and experience of large data entry projects? Do you have excellent organisation and administrative skills? You might be someone with lots of data experience and a keen interest in music, or you might be from a musical background with excellent data skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. They will also have strong research and investigative skills. Previous experience of music licensing is desirable.
The Data & Research Assistant will work in a small Recording & Broadcasting department, line managed by the National Organiser Recording & Broadcasting. The role can be carried out anywhere in the UK with hybrid working predominantly from home and linked to your nearest MU Office. Some travel (predominantly to London) for meetings will be required.
What we offer
