Teaching Tomorrow is delighted to be working with a great primary school in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team for a maternity cover, February to July 2026.

This primary school is looking for someone for their Year 1 class on a full-time basis, with the role including planning and marking responsibilities. This is a great role for a teacher who is looking for a full-time role from January 2026.
This role would be perfect for a fully qualified teacher, who has lower Key Stage 1 experience and is willing to be a strong part of a team with a great school ethos.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
* Strong and successful Year 1 / Key Stage 1 teaching experience
* Must be available four or five days a week
* Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils
* Assess and mark student work effectively
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress
* Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams
* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
* Contribute to the positive learning environment
