HGV Class 1 Driver – Permanent Role

£35,500 per annum (48-hour week)
We are currently recruiting for a permanent HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver based in the NG6 area of Nottingham.

The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled collections and deliveries of materials, ensuring a professional and secure service to customers at all times.
Duties will include:
* Carrying out collections and deliveries in line with daily schedules
* Providing a professional, customer-focused service on-site
* Completing vehicle checks and maintenance logs
* Following job instructions, including weighing or recording materials where required
* Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
* Making sure the vehicle is clean, secure, and well maintained
* Operating equipment where required (full training provided)
* Adhering to all DVLA, VOSA and health & safety regulations
* Supporting with manual handling and lifting as part of the role

Salary:
* £35,500 per annum (based on a 48-hour working week)
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
* Good understanding of UK road regulations and safety standards
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer-focused attitude
