Now is an excellent time to join this well established business BASED PERTH AND KINROSS ROLE Purpose To coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule/plan to maximise the gross margin for the site. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipments; conferring with department Front Line Managers to determine progress of work and completion; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. Reporting into the Planning Manager with 3 x Planner direct reports, Key Responsibilities will be as follows: - Day-to-day management of the team - Daily meetings with the Front-Line Managers to update on Production plans and demand - Internal and external meetings with stakeholders and customers - Implementing and maintaining the factory schedule - Monitoring order trends - Provide accurate forecasting to customers CANDIDATE You will have a proven track record in Production Planning. Food experience is desirable although applications are welcome from the wider FMCG arena. You will be well accustomed to working in a fast paced environment. You will have detailed knowledge of using MS Office products, particularly Excel and Acces. You will have a good understanding of Supply Chain principles and you will have the ability to rapidly reorganise according to constantly changing circumstances.
