We are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join one of the UK's leading plastic manufacturers based in Liverpool. This is a full-time permanent office-based role working Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm, offering a salary of £28k per annum, rising to £30k after a successful 6-month probation. The role offers free onsite parking, a staff canteen, 20 days of annual leave (increasing with length of service), a company bonus scheme, and more!
Key responsibilities include:
1. Lead generation and marketing: minimum 20 cold calls a day
2. Use of website tracking software to generate leads
3. Customer service: liaising with other departments to track order status and manage jobs from order to on-time delivery
4. Raise quotes and customer orders using Microsoft Dynamics and order entry system
5. Deal with purchase orders for external suppliers
6. Prepare daily reports on outstanding orders and sales figures
7. Attend sales meetings and take minutes
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
* Previous sales/customer service experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally polythene or other packaging
* Proficiency in Excel functions; experience with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Power BI is advantageous but training will be provided
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Comfortable with shifting demands and able to prioritize tasks
