We’re looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead and deliver exciting, diverse projects that balance environmental sensitivity with creative vision. The Role
As Senior Landscape Architect, you will:
* Shape development proposals from inception to completion, placing landscape planning at the forefront.
* Deliver high-quality reporting, including LVAs, LVIAs, EIAs, feasibility studies, and strategic landscape proposals.
* Provide expert due diligence advice on landscape character and visual matters.
* Collaborate with in-house ecology, green/blue infrastructure, and arboriculture teams for integrated project solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, statutory bodies, and LPAs.
* Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.
* Contribute to business development and explore opportunities for winning new work.
About You
You’re a creative, solutions-focused professional who thrives on variety and collaboration. You bring technical expertise, design vision, and a commitment to delivering projects that respect and enhance the environment.
* Degree in a relevant subject.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience, ideally CMLI or on the Pathway to Chartership.
* Proven experience in LVIAs and LVAs, with strong mitigation and landscape design skills.
* EIA experience and a strong grasp of UK legislative and planning policy frameworks.
* Skilled in project management and client engagement.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience mentoring colleagues.
* Track record in business development.
* Involvement in Public Inquiry work.
