The CHASE is a Specialist SEND provision at our Stroud campus which supports young people from 16-24. The provision is based around developing skills for preparing for adulthood and improving skills for employment and supported living. Through growth of the provision, we are looking to appoint passionate and adaptable individuals who will support our learners 1:1 or in small groups. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Support high needs learners to develop confidence and independence to prepare them for adulthood. You will be committed to working with a person-centered approach to enable learners to fulfil their potential within a highly differentiated learning environment. To meet the provisions of identified learners with EHCPs in the following areas: Communication & Interaction Cognition & Learning Social, Emotional & Mental Sensory/Physical Self-care & Independence Support the young people in the Chase, either 1:1, in-class or out-of-class to achieve their EHCP and developmental outcomes, aspirations, goals & qualifications. Work collaboratively with curriculum staff in class and in the community to support learner progress and achievement and complete administrative responsibilities required to provide support to the above learners and to record progress and achievement.
