Overview
London Museum is in the middle of an exciting transformation, moving from London Wall to Smithfield. The Conservation and Collections Care department is looking for a Textile Conservator to join our multi‑disciplinary team working on stabilising and packing objects and installation of the new galleries.

Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to treat objects affected by a mould outbreak and prepare them for packing and move to our new stores. You will also be working with the installation team to support mounting and to prepare more complex textiles for packing and move.
Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience of conserving textile objects within a heritage institution, who can confidently and independently solve conservation and collections care problems. The ideal candidate is a good team player who enjoys sharing ideas with others.
