About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support a critical delivery partnership within a large‑scale engineering and construction programme.
In this role, you will lead on all legal aspects relating to the establishment, governance, and ongoing operation of a multi‑party alliance. You will ensure strong contractual, commercial, and regulatory compliance across a sophisticated and collaborative delivery model.
You will act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, providing both strategic and day‑to‑day legal support. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including Legal, Commercial, Project Controls, and Delivery, as well as external partners and senior stakeholders.
About You
* Qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales) with substantial post‑qualification experience.
* Ideally a background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure law (other sectors considered).
* Knowledge of construction and engineering contracts, as well as complex infrastructure/energy projects would be beneficial.
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic and solutions‑focused approach.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
