Overview
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Security Dog Handlers to provide protection and security services at one of our client sites. This role involves patrolling, monitoring, and safeguarding premises with the assistance of trained security dogs, ensuring the safety of assets, property, and personnel.
Responsibilities
* Provide visible security presence across the site with the support of a trained security dog.
* Patrol designated areas to deter and detect intrusions, theft, or suspicious activity.
* Monitor site access and report any unauthorised entry.
* Respond quickly and effectively to alarms or incidents.
* Write and maintain accurate incident and patrol reports.
* Liaise professionally with site staff, management, and emergency services where required.
* Ensure the welfare and professional handling of the security dog at all times.
Experience
* Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor).
* Fully trained NASDU Level 2 (or equivalent) Dog Handler certification.
* Proven experience in working as a dog handler in a security environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
* Own licensed and insured security dog (required).
