South West based charitable housing association BCHA was founded over 50 years ago with a continuing mission to meet housing need and end homelessness. We are looking for a Housing Sustainment Advisor to join our team and help deliver an excellent Intensive Housing Management (IHM) service.



About the Role

As a Housing Sustainment Advisor, you will:

* Work alongside Housing Officers to provide practical, personalised housing and accommodation support.
* Help customers sustain their accommodation, live independently, and work towards personal goals.
* Carry out regular home visits, ensuring tenancy/licence compliance.
* Coordinate essential services and support to meet customer needs.
* Take a person-centred, strengths-based approach, empowering customers to achieve positive outcomes.



About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Passionate about supporting people to live independently.
* Organised and confident with regular home visits and tenancy management.
* Able to identify underlying issues and connect customers with the right support.
* A strong communicator who can build positive relationships.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with individuals from all levels of the organisation and external partners, and to manage effective liaison with a variety of different customers, contractors and stakeholders.


33.75 hours weekly on a rolling 4 week rota, one weekend in 4
