Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive Sector

A leading manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in process engineering, continuous improvement, and new product introduction (NPI), looking to make a tangible impact across two key production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support NPI activities by attending project meetings and ensuring process governance.
Lead PFMEA development and maintain robust Work Instructions.
Collaborate with Quality teams to uphold standards through Control Plans.
Act as a key stakeholder in change management processes (PCRs).
Drive process reviews, line trials, and Run @ Rate activities.
Promote standardisation and best practice sharing across both sites.
What You'll Be Accountable For:
Implementation and governance of manufacturing documentation and processes.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and systematic process audits.
Ensuring alignment and consistency across both manufacturing locations.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
Proven track record in project delivery and process improvement.
Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
